Professional Cleaning

Used records are cleaned in an ultrasonic bath with distilled water and Tergikleen, double-rinsed in an ultrasonic bath, and vacuum-dried for the best possible playback.

Grading

Records are graded conservatively using the Goldmine standard and play-tested when appropriate on a Rega RP8 with a Hana ML cartridge.

Grading Definitions

Mint (M)    Sealed or assumed mint.

Near Mint (NM)    No signs of prior use; as new.

Excellent (EX+)    Nearly NM. Very faint marks or sleeve scuffs.

Excellent (EX).   Excellent condition. Light, superficial marks; minimal wear.

Very Good Plus (VG+)    Light marks; occasional noise that does not overpower the music, no feelable scratches. Jacket has mild wear.

Very Good (VG)    Noticeable marks or feelable scratches; plays with surface noise but no skips. No jumps or locked grooves. Jacket shows moderate wear.

Good (G)    Well-played; details in listing. Heavy jacket wear.

Fair (F)   May skip significant groove or jacket wear.
