***********FOR PARTS/REPAIR - The manual wind movement gains a bit of time when running. While the seconds hand fires up after about 4 full winds of the crown after every 5th or so wind a jolt comes from the movement (although I'm not a watchmaker I imagine the issue is likely mainspring related). As a result the movement will only run for several hours (about 15) at a time before stopping. After it stops and the crown is wound again the movement tends to immediately fire back up. A complete overhaul is required.***********

This seldom seen vintage 1960/70's Jubilee, which came from the estate of its original owner, has a pristine black "T SWISS T" signed dial and the lume on both the dial and hands, which remains fully intact and emits a quick burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully.  The black bezel, which shows wear and rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, presents nicely with the lume pip complementing the dial and patina beautifully.  The all stainless steel case shows honest wear with no visible signs of oxidation.  As seen in picture 18 there is a ding on the right lug at 12 o'clock.  The outer edge of the case back is stamped "JUBILEE   SKIN DIVER   ALL STAINLESS STEEL."  The crystal shows heavy scratching.

While I normally show pictures of the movements of watches I put up for sale the case back on this watch is torqued too tight for me to remove.  The manual wind movement with quickset date function gains a bit of time when running however it'll only run for several hours (about 15) before stopping.  The quickset date function works flawlessly by simply pressing in on the crown with the red date wheel automatically rolling over on its own at 12 am.  After winding the crown 25 full revolutions (there's a jolt with every 5th of so wind) the movement gained about 2 minutes by the end of its approximate 15 hour power reserve period.  When the movement stops it tends to immediately fire back up with some additional winds of the crown.  Although I'm not a watchmaker I imagine the issue is likely mainspring related.  The crown winds buttery smooth.  Given the issues mentioned and considering that the movement has likely never been serviced a complete overhaul is required.

This watch measures approximately 37 mm excluding the crown, approximately 40.5 mm including the crown and approximately 19 mm between the lugs.  Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 8 mm.  Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 9 mm.

A complete overhaul is required.  As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch.  Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time.  For this watch that time is now.  Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility.

Please thoroughly read this entire listing and kindly ask any and all questions you may have prior to buying as this sale is final and no refunds of any kind will be given.  And please study the 23 high magnification pictures carefully as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch.

Expedited and insured shipping along with signature confirmation will be provided.  Thanks for looking!
