This 600W (2x300W) monocrystalline MPPT solar charging kit is suitable for medium/large off-grid installations. In motorhomes, caravans and liveaboard boats, it should be capable of keeping one x 12V batteries charged with minimal usage (such as LED lights; water pump; phone/tablet charging; fridge/freezer).

This kit contains:

    50A 100V Victron SmartSolar MPPT regulator with in-built bluetooth

    Waterproof Double Cable Gland - Black

    The 300W monocrystalline solar panels have a sturdy 32mm svelte black frame to protect some of the highest quality glass available. Good glass permits better light transmission and thus higher energy yields. The monocrystalline solar cells are produced by world leading manufacturer Perlight. The backing sheet that coats the back of the solar panel is durable and weather tight ensuring many years of performance. A resilient junction box coupled with double insulated solar cables ensures effective energy transference. The cables are fitted with the industry standard MC4 compatible connectors.

    We provide only high quality regulators from industry leaders. An MPPT regulator from the SmartSolar range, manufactured by Dutch company Victron Energy - one of the market leaders in solar power electronics equipment. This 50A MPPT charge controller is capable of providing significantly more power to a battery bank from the solar array, compared to conventional PWM charge controllers, in addition to maximising the battery lifespan. The MPPT regulator is effectively a dynamic DC-DC converter which constantly adjusts and optimises the voltage output from the solar array, which can vary considerably, in order to provide a constant charging voltage for the batteries - which improves their lifespan and equates to lower power losses in the system.

    To connect this kit to your 12V system you will need suitable cables. We provide a single length of 10m pv outdoor rated cable, and a pair of separate MC4 connectors to enable you to connect the panel to the regulator.  We also provide a suitable 2m red and black battery cable with 50A fuse and lugs to connect the regulator to your battery bank.

RETURNS: Within 14 days of receiving your product, if there is a problem or you change your mind we will be able to replace it or refund your payment. Please go through the necessary steps to return the item through eBay and all we ask is:

  • Re-package the product in the original packaging
  • Place in an outer bag or box
  • Send the item back within a further 14 days at the buyer's cost, to the return address we provide
