    Actual car introduction
    JR Kyushu Series 817 is a 20m 3-door suburban type train introduced in Kitakyushu district in 2001. The Series 817 is used throughout the Kyushu region through variations and transfers.
    The Series 0, 1000 and 1100 are convertible cross-seat cars with aluminium hairline specifications, while the Series 2000 and 3000 are long-seat cars with aluminium bodywork and white paintwork.
    They can be combined with other types (Series 813, 815, etc.) and can also be operated as long trains by combining several units, thereby contributing to reducing congestion in various regional metropolitan areas.
    In recent years, the headlights have been changed to white LED type and changes can be seen.
