Operations Instruction

  • The probe should be wiped clean before each measurement and the
  • temperature of the engine must be below 60°C.
  • Press and hold the [light ] key for more than 2s to power on the tester.
  • Press [ ] for mode selection: petrol engine mode or diesel engine mode.
  • Press [℃/℉ ] to toggle the temperature.
  • Submerge the probe in the oil.
  • Press [work ] for oil transmittance test.
  • The interface will display the transmittance of the oil.
  • Indicates [ok ] when the transmittance is between 100% and 50%, [ ! ] when the transmittance is between 50% and 30%, and [X ] when it is below 30%. [ T ] to indicate the current oil measurement temperature.
  • After the measurement is completed, press and hold the [ ] key for 2s for shutdown the tester.
