This is an original antique (late 19th to early 20th century) small clock, candle, or knick knack shelf featuring elegantly scroll cut back panel and support piece, routed serpentine edges, and turned finials. It is solid wood that looks like mahogany, but the type of wood is not certain.

The shelf is in excellent condition and is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. There are some minor light scuffs and scratches in the finish and a tight age crack in the back panel that is not loose anywhere. There is no other obvious damage. On the back top edge are two small metal hangers for wall mounting. 

The shelf measures 14 1/2" L x 7 1/4" Deep x 11" H and will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping.
