Marx 1955-1960s Type I Plateosaurus Dinosaur Green . Approximately 2 1/2" in height.

Type I Plateosaurus mold was used beginning in 1955. Type II mold is believed to have been employed simultaneously. Both mold types were used by Marx to produce flat-colored through the 1960s. In the 1970s, both were used by Marx to produce waxy-colored figures. Figures produced from the molds after 1979 were not produced by Marx.
