I found this wonderful antique/vintage wooden house in a crowded antique store hidden in a case. It has wonderful detailed doors, windows and shrubs. I think it looks Swiss. There is a marking on the bottom which looks like a blur and then, maybe, ZAPAP. Maybe someone will know what this is. I honestly am not sure if this is applied paper or inlaid wood. Please look at the photos and see what you think. I am a doll collector and thought it would display very well with small frozen Charlottes or any small doll. In addition to its' appeal as a small house, it's a puzzle box and when open I found a tiny antique worn bear. He has his mohair loved off and his ear is loose, but I think this adds to his charms. He measures, seated, 2 1/2". The house measures 5 3/4" tall, and 4 x 3 1/4" at the base. I am asking only what I paid for it, but will consider a reasonable offer. It has wear commensurate with age, and I guess could be oiled, but I am afraid to hurt it.
