I am selling collection of American  medals. 
 
These were collected many years ago..
 All are genunine originals and not the current reproductions. 

Obv. View of Bernard Boetin (1900-1974) Proniment NY. City lawyer and judge, a legal reformer persiding justice  of the New York Supreme Court & President of the NY. Bar Association.
Rev.  see inscription on scan
  circa 1976-1986.
Thus was an award medal presented by the NY Bar association to Sol G. Summer for outstanding contibution to the administration of the courts.   
Medal was presented annually after his death in 1973 with not more than 4-6 persons annually recived this award. Probably presented at the annual banquet of the NY. City Bar association. 
Sculptor & medalist - Adli Hardin Stevenson (1901-1989)J He was a desccedent of Adl E.Stevenson VP of the United States under President Grover Cleveland & first cousin of Governor Adli Stevenson II who was the Democratic nominee for Presidet in 952 &1956 
His name  is to the left edge of the obv. 
Medal: Bronze - Size: 88.5mm. - thickness 8mm. - Weight 15.5 oz. 
Edge stamped: "Medallic Art Co. N.Y. - Bronze"
