These were collected many years ago..
 All are genunine originals and not the current reproductions. 
Award medal for service & achievement.

Obv. Scene of University building a church tower. " The University of Chattanooga - Distinguished Service"

Medals was  likely a splash or die impression for the design of the medal.  
Sculptor & medalist -    Joseph Di Lorenze (1920-2001) not marked on the piece
Medal: Bronze/plated  - Shape is round - Size: 76  mm. - Weight 64 grams -Thickness Approx. 5 mm. 
Edge is not engraved (most likely done by   "Medallic  Art Co. N.Y.")
Mintage: unknown  
Most are long gone.
