The stylistic focus of the thrash metal band FATEFUL FINALITY is unmistakable whereas their strong individuality and compositional cleverness is always surprising. Having been close friends since kindergarten Simon Schwarzer (guitar, vocals), Patrick Prochiner (guitar, vocals) and Philipp Mürder (bass) founded the band in 2007 together with drummer Mischa Wittek. Since then they have been pulling together, with full power and in the same direction.

From the get-go one of the most remarkable characteristics of the band has been the diverse singing styles. Simon Schwarzer is responsible for the rough vocals whereas Patrick Prochiner takes care of the clean vocals creating an elaborate counterpart. Many of FATEFUL FINALITY’s songs live on this deliberately chosen friction and most likely can be regarded artistically as a masterful mix of sound worlds from bands like Machine Head, Exodus, Lamb Of God, Testament or The Haunted.

As already was the case on "King Of Torture", "Battery" and "Mankind" FATEFUL FINALITY fire off highly powerful and riffy thrash metal on “Executor” ranging from fast-paced (“Fire And Brimstone”, “The Raid”) to grooving (“Rot”) and featuring a surprisingly modern death metal track “They Breed The Dead”.

Lyrically the musicians are far from being some simple, lightweight metal guys. Often times only apparent at second glance, they are dealing with the seven deadly sins which is also expressed in the detailed cover artwork of “Executor”. Certainly, this captivating not-only-thrash-metal-band and their new album have lots to offer and will be quite present in the future. Without a doubt FATEFUL FINALITY have the energy and musical quality to make a name for themselves internationally. Along that way “Executor” will surely become another milestone in their band history.

Die stilistische Ausrichtung der Thrash Metaller FATEFUL FINALITY ist unmissverständlich, während die große Eigenständigkeit und die kompositorische Cleverness immer wieder überraschen. Bereits seit der Kindergartenzeit eng miteinander befreundet, haben Simon Schwarzer (Gitarre, Gesang), Patrick Prochiner (Gitarre, Gesang) und Philipp Mürder (Bass) die Band zusammen mit Schlagzeuger Mischa Wittek 2007 gegründet und ziehen seither mit unvermindert großer Energie am gleichen Strang.

Von Beginn an eine der auffallendsten Stärken der Gruppe: die unterschiedlichen Gesangsstile. Simon Schwarzer übernimmt den derben Gesang, während Patrick Prochiner für die cleanen vocals und damit für einen raffinierten Gegenpol sorgt. Von dieser bewusst gewählten Reibung leben bei FATEFUL FINALITY viele Songs, die künstlerisch wohl am ehesten als souveräne Mischung aus den Klangwelten von Bands wie Machine Head, Exodus, Lamb Of God, Testament oder auch The Haunted bezeichnet werden können.

Wie schon auf "King Of Torture", "Battery" und "Mankind" feuern FATEFUL FINALITY auch auf "Executor" einen rifflastigen, ungemein druckvollen Thrash Metal aus der Hüfte, der von temporeich ("Fire And Brimstone", "The Raid") bis groovend ("Rot") reicht und mit "They Breed The Dead" sogar einen überraschend modern klingenden Death Metal-Track vorweist.

Auch textlich sind die Musiker alles andere als reine Schmalspur-Metaller. Im Grunde werden, oftmals erst auf den zweiten Blick, die sieben Todsünden aufgegriffen. Passend dazu auch das detailreiche Cover-Artwork zu "Executor". Man wird in Zukunft also sicherlich weiterhin noch viel von dieser mitreißenden Nicht-nur-Thrash-Metal-Band und ihrem neuen Album hören. FATEFUL FINALITY haben zweifelsfrei die Energie und die musikalische Qualität, sich auch international zu etablieren. Auf dem Weg dorthin könnte sich "Executor" durchaus wieder zu einem weiteren Meilenstein entwickeln.
