Everything seemed to be going against Verstappen early in the 2019 Mexican Grand Prix. Contact with Lewis Harilton on the opening lap caused him to lose valuable positions, then a punctured tire on Lap 4 dropped him all the way into last place. Max, though, fought back valiantly to finish sixth and earn eight points. Fans deemed him the Driver of the Day (20.2%) for the season's sixth time.
