This intricate Trinket Snuff is made with beautiful colors, 3D high relief painted scene. The country setting shows mother with children, their dog and a pony and buck under a tree and beautiful hills and mountains in the background. in a neoclassical country scene with mother and children, along with pony and a deer. The front and back has a renaissance mask gargoyle in 3d detail and colors and gold painted around them. It has brass mounts/ frames with a shell that works with a thumb lift. The inside is porcelained white with old tags I've left in place. The identifying mark is blue underglaze capitol “N” with a 5-pointed crown that looks like a mark from 1771-1834 from Italy, but please confirm with a historian mark identifier as I am not an expert. The oval box measures slightly over 2 1/4 inches deep x   x 2 inches tall. In good condition. Paint seems to be in tact, rims and joint are secure and no cracks or breaks except tiny fleabite on base. A beautiful gift for a collector.
