Outlined shape of Africa in center of this vibrantly colored Vintage South African hand carved and painted bowl.  The center of the bowl has an outline carved shape of Africa and in the center is the carving of an unknown insect. I believe this is teak wood.

Makes a beautiful coffee table conversation piece, displayed in bookcase, and also be used as fruit bowl, bread basket, etc, 

Measurements: 19.25 inches long.  One end of bowl is 10 inches wide, the other end is 9.25. 3 inches deep.
