Antique bowl and 6 custard cups in a yellow and brown spongeware design.  They are made from pottery and are unmarked, but are very similar in design, color and shape to both Bennington Pottery and Rockingham Pottery.  These can be used daily in your home, not just for custard but anything you would serve in individual cups or you could display the set on a shelf or in a cabinet.  The bowl is marked 169.  Add a touch of nostalgia to your kitchen with the serving bowl and cups!

The bowl is 9 1/4 inches across and 2 3/8 inches high.  Each cup measures 3 inches across and is 2 3/8 inches high.

Good condition.  The bowl has a stain near the top and some areas where the glaze is worn on the inside.  One cup has a large chip on the rim.(photos)  One cup has a small crack, and another a very small chip just under the rim. There is crazing on all the pieces, inside and out, but is still a beautiful set.
