This is a really folky Mini Merganser made by John Paxson in Chesapeak Virginia almost 20 years ago. John has been dead for a number of years but when he was alive, he made some beautiful decoys. Completely hand carved and hand painted with an inletted head. Signed with his monogram on the bottom. Approx. 8 " long and 3 1/2" wide.
