SLP Performance Blackwing Air Induction System
Fits 1997-2000 Chevrolet Corvette 5.7L LS1 V8 Engine

One of the quickest and best ways to improve the performance of your 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 C5 Corvette LS1 V8 is to eliminate the restrictive stock air box. This easy-to-install SLP air filter, dubbed the "Blackwing" for its unique appearance, outflows the factory setup by as much as 90% and can provide up to 18 additional horsepower.

The SLP Blackwing uses 100% synthetic filtration media called Synteq. The fibers are extremely uniform and very small, allowing the filter to flow more air and trap smaller particles than do ordinary cotton and oiled-cotton "performance" filters. The SLP Blackwing also features an exclusive flow indicator that changes color when cleaning is required.

This is a simple bolt-on installation that requires no vehicle modifications. All necessary parts and complete detailed installation instructions are included. 

This SLP Blackwing is designed to fit the stock MAF Sensor and Air-Bridge, we do not guarantee fitment with aftermarket MAF sensors and air-bridges.


NOTE: This does not fit 2001-2004 Corvettes. You would need to order SLP Part #21110L if you have a 2001-2004 Corvette.

NOTE: The optional SLP air filter cleaning kit part #25017 is recommended when cleaning/re-oiling your filter.
