French Oak spindle / baluster / column. Superbly turned with outstanding details. Quality architectural salvage stripped of old finish and ready for your reuse. I sprayed Mineral Spirits on it in the first photo to demonstrate the wood's excellent patina and color.  I've seen these used for furniture restoration, as lamps, or helmet stands (see third to last photo).   I have six more of these available that are similar, but not identical.  Please see my other auctions if interested.  Height (not including dowels): approx. 11" Maximum Width/Diameter:  approx. 4""
