The Spasilen automatic injector is a device for self-administration of intramuscular and subcutaneous injections with disposable syringes of 3 and 5 ml. The Spasilen autoinjector is designed to significantly reduce the unpleasant sensations of injection and make the process more comfortable for both adults and children. We have made the device so simple and convenient that you can use it yourself without involving outside people. Spasilen has a registration certificate from Roszdravnadzor No. RZN 2021/13631. The device is reusable for intramuscular and subcutaneous injections at home and in hospitals.
The Spasilen injector is designed for standard disposable syringes of the SFM brand, 3 ml with a 23G needle and 5 ml with a 22G needle. These syringes are available in every pharmacy. You can use syringes from other manufacturers, but consider the information below. Syringes from different manufacturers may differ slightly in size. For example, by the height of the piston that protrudes from the syringe, or the length of the syringe itself. If the syringes do not differ from the SFM brand, you will not experience any difficulties, the injector will work in standard mode. If the syringes differ slightly (0.5-1 mm), then you may encounter two difficulties: A small part of the solution may remain in the syringe (0.1-0.3 ml.) The needle may not be automatically removed from the injection site (after the procedure is completed, the next solution is to remove the SPASILEN injector and the needle is removed along with it). If the differences in the syringes are significant, then we DO NOT RECOMMEND you to use them.
Important : Due to the fact that some injection solutions (for example, Mydocalm solution) have aggressive or adhesive properties that can have a bad effect on the plastic parts of the product, after each use (especially if drops of drugs get on the parts), the injector must be washed with running, very warm water.
When using this device for thick, dense and oily solutions, the warranty is not valid. The manufacturer recommends in such cases to use thicker needles (larger diameter), and also to slightly warm up the injection solution to (40-45C/105-110F degrees), especially after storing in the refrigerator!!! This will allow the injector to push the solutions through the needle more easily.
The Spasilen injector is an ergonomically shaped polymer body with a lid. There are spring mechanisms inside the body, with the help of which the injection is carried out automatically. On the side surface of the body there is a release button that activates the injection mechanism. Replacement cartridges for 3 ml and 5 ml syringes are available for inserting syringes into the injector body. One press of the release button replaces several sequential actions that must be performed during a conventional injection: • Inserting the needle; • Piston movement and drug injection • Needle withdrawal The design of the device allows you to adjust the depth of needle insertion for intramuscular and subcutaneous injections. The needle enters the injection site exactly at an angle of 90 ° quickly, painlessly, to the required depth without much effort. Completeness of the automatic injector Saved according to TU No. 32.50.12-001-43413304-2020 (with accessories).
