Claude Laforest started in 2004 as a hobby selling overstock from local bike shops. He always had a passion about high end bicycles. He followed the Tour de France and many other races around the globe with athletes like Greg Lemond, Laurent Fignon, Pedro Delgado, Sean Kelly and more.
After seeing there was a demand for high end bike parts, bicycles and frameset, he decided to create his own virtual bike shop. He had the chance to work in the bike industry for years and created many contacts.

SHIPPING
For shipping, we use mostly FEDEX, DHL, Purolator or postal services. All our shipment come with tracking number and insurance except packages under 20$. USA shipping prices are for the continental 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii, US Protectorates, and APO/FPO shipments are subject to additional charges. Contact us for a quote.

Shipments are subject to customs clearance procedures, which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.
PAYMENT AND HANDLING TIMES
We will ship usually your purchase within 2 business days after receiving your payment. Otherwise, we will contact you.
All Canadian customers will be charged province sales tax at the time of checkout.
ADDRESS CHANGES
We will only ship to the verified shipping address on your PayPal account at the time of payment.
If you need to update your shipping address, please DO NOT pay until you have changed your shipping address in both eBay and PayPal.

Effective from March 10th 2016, United States Customs and Border Protection has raised the import de minimis limit from $200 to $800. This is the value of a shipment of merchandise, imported by one person on one day, that may be imported free of duties and taxes and without the need of a customs declaration.
RETURN POLICY
Our priority is your satisfaction !
In the unfortunate event that you want to return an item, please contact our customer service department within thirty (30) days of receiving your purchase. A return authorization number (RA#) will be provided by our customer service department and must accompany all returns to help us process your refund. Lafo Bikes assumes no liability for lost or damaged returns.
We are happy to offer free return for all our Canadian customers. All international buyer are responsible for the shipping cost to return the item.
THE PRODUCT MUST BE IN NEW CONDITION
In order for Lafo Bikes to accept your returned merchandise, it has to be in exact same condition as you received it, with the original packaging and tags. We must be able to sell it to someone else.
Bike apparel must be clean, odour free and without any pet hair.
For obvious hygiene reasons, we won’t reimburse jersey, bike shorts, bib shorts and socks unless they’re in new condition. These items must still have their tags on, must never have been worn or washed and the packaging must be intact.

How do I cancel my order?
If you have paid for an item and would like to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If we are contacted before the item is shipped, we will refund your purchase in whole including the shipping charges. If we are not contacted in a timely fashion and your item has been shipped you will be responsible for the outgoing and return shipping charges.
