Here is a lovely small, slightly swat porcelain bowl with a dome shaped lid. Both pieces are hand painted with big pink blossoms on a satin-sheen background of soft mint green. The lid has a thin band of gold trim on its edge. The interior of the bowl and lid’s underside have a glossy white glaze.
The bowl’s diameter at the opening is 2 7/8”, bottom is 3 ¼”. The lid mounds up about 1”. A charming piece.
The remarkable condition is very good with no issues. It is free of chips, cracks, crazing, scratches or wear to the gold trim.
The backstamp in green has a crown, “P” over “M” in a wreath, and “Bavaria”. This is the mark used by the Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf factory from 1895 to 1937 on products for export.
