| Notes: 2 volumes 8 vo, full tan morocco leather, wide gilt border on covers, Gilt paneled spines in 7 compartments, leaf wreath design with floral centers. Red leather under title on spine and dark brown leather under volume numbers. Covers have rubbing with light wear to gilt. Corners bumped, hinge cracked in Vol 1, foxing on beginning and ending pages in both volumes. Toe of volume I is chipped and has stain on cover. Volume II cover has a light crazing in the leather but is smooth to touch. Discourses of the first Society of Antiquaries (formed during the late sixteenth century), over sixty discourses and other scholarly works collected, including several on the law and, in particular, on the Inns of Court and Chancery.
