Installing the Receiver

  1. Clean inside and outside surfaces.
  2. Screw install tool into the brass nut plate.
  3. Remove protective film from adhesive tape.
  4. Pivot nut plate, insert in hole, pivot back and pull several times to adhere tape on back side of fiberglass.
  5. Unscrew install tool.
  6. Apply marine grade silicone to underside of receiver head.
  7. Apply Loctite to receiver threads, screw into brass nut plate and tighten with Allen wrench.

Installation Tips:

  • Before installing the receiver, please using the Locator Disk and mark dead center of the receiver with a pencil.
  • Be sure to check that there are no structural members, cables, etc. behind the drilled holes.
  • Always finish drilling from the outside. This will minimize the risk of damaging the gelcoat.
