Programming procedure for Prastel rolling code key-fob transmitters
Method A (requires an existing working Prastel transmitter)
Stand close to gate control box or within good operating distance of the gates.
FOB A = OLD WORKING FOB. FOB B = NEW FOB TO BE PROGRAMMED.
1. On fob A press both buttons simultaneously and release at once.. Light comes on and then goes off. After 2 seconds light come on again and remains steady.
2. Immediately press both buttons again until light flashes and release. Light flashes red and green and then after a few seconds flashes green very rapidly for a few seconds. It is this signal which sets the gate receiver into programming mode. When rapid flashing stops you have 10 seconds to press the left hand button on fob B. Keep it pressed for 2 seconds and release. This then locks fob B into the gate memory.
3.It takes about 30 seconds to activate fob B after the above steps.
4.If it does not work repeat above steps.
Method B (requires entry to the gate control box.)
1. Locate the programming button inside your Prastel gate control enclosure
and press it briefly, an LED will light up on the receiver P.C.B., you now have 10 seconds to perform the next step.
2. Take the new transmitter and press the button that you wish to use to operate your receiver for one second. Now wait 30 seconds for the receiver to exit programming mode.
3. Programming is now complete and your new handset should now operate your receiver.
