The most prestigious patron of the Societyfrom the moment of its appearance until the forced liquidation onOctober 15, 1918 was the Grand Duchess Tsesarevna, later the EmpressAll-Russian Maria Feodorovna.
By the beginning of thetwentieth century, the Society contained 2,000 rescue stations,10,000 rescue stations, 2 marine rescue stations, 4 motor yachts andseveral dozens of sailing rescue vessels.
Rescue boat "Xenia",the whaleboat of the White system was used on the inland waters ofRussia. Posyet K.N. introduced the type of boats into the state oflifeboats of boat stations.
White's rescue whaleboat wasbuilt of mahogany, distinguished by good seaworthiness and increasedstability. Sailing weapons allowed maneuver in small spaces. Theoverall dimensions of the whaleboat were 10 meters long, 2.6 meterswide. White's whaleboat had air boxes / dry compartments, which werefilled with a cork, to ensure buoyancy and unsinkability. Even withfull filling with water, the whaleboat remained afloat along with theoarsmen and passengers.
