- The binding of the book is completely split in half along page 258/259 - Each section of pages remains bound to one another - No pages are loose or missing - However, the back cover is held to its pages by only 3 small strings of binding, and it is nearly detached
- Some scratches, scuffs and surface wear on the leather covers from age and handling, mainly on the corners and around the edges - Some small discoloration spots on the covers - There is a large circular moisture discoloration ring from a drink glass on the front cover
- The spinal covering is heavily worn, with most of the top surface area having chipped and flaked away underneath, exposing the ends of the pages along the top and the bottom edges
- Some foxing/browning/discoloration spots on the pages from age
- There is a little bit of handwriting inside of the front cover in pencil
- There is an Ex Libris bookplate label inside of the front cover
- A few tiny margin tears on a few of the pages
- Some crimps and a few tiny bends/folds on the pages
