Ein vollautomatischer, aktiver SCART-Umschalter mit 8 Eingängen und 2 Ausgängen. Die Hydra ist also ein SCART-Switch bzw. Umschalter, aber auch gleichzeitig ein aktiver SCART / RGB Splitter!

Die Hydra bietet 8 RGB-kompatible SCART-Eingänge, an welche verschiedene Konsolen und Computer angeschlossen werden können.
Sie sind vollständig voneinander getrennt, so dass ein ggf. störendes Signal eines anderen Eingangs nicht übersprechen und stören kann. Wir bieten hier die nochmals überarbeitete Version 2.2 mit Netzschalter und zusätzlichen Sicherungen an.
Die Hydra scannt automatisch alle Eingänge und stoppt, sobald eine aktive Quelle gefunden wird.
Das heißt, dass man einfach seinen Fernseher und die Konsole anschalten kann und die Hydra schaltet automatisch auf diesen Eingang. Sind mehrere Quellen gleichzeitig aktiv kann man mit den Tasten zwischen den Quellen umschalten.
Eine vorkonfigurierte und -programmierte L336-Remote ist im Lieferumfang enthalten (benötigt 2x AAA-Batterien, werden nicht mitgeliefert).
Alternativ kann auch eine eigene Fernbedienung benutzt werden:
die Hydra unterstützt Fernbedienungen - und hier kann fast jede verwendet werden. Um die Hydra in den Lern-Modus zu schalten, musst Du einfach den mittleren Schalter (SW2) gedrückt halten, während Du das Netzteil einsteckst.
Die Hydra zeigt dann mittels LED an, welche Funktion gerade gelernt werden soll.
Drücke einfach auf deiner Fernbedienung den entsprechenden Knopf bis die Hydra auf die nächste LED wechselt (dann hat sie die Funktion gelernt).
Schalter:
- SW1 Rechts - Suche nach aktiver Quelle Richtung rechts (wenn aktiv ganz rechts ist, keine Aktion) / vorheriger SCART-Eingang im manuellen Modus
- SW2 Mitte - Low-Pass-Filter an/aus (LED ein / aus)
- SW3 Links - Suche nach aktiver Quelle Richtung links (wenn aktiv ganz links ist, keine Aktion) / nächster SCART-Eingang im manuellen Modus
- SW1 + SW3 - Deaktiviert den "Knightrider-LED-Effekt"
- SW1 + SW2 - Umschalten automatischer / manueller Modus
- SW4 SCART-Ausgang links - Umschalten zwischen TTL und 75Ohm Sync-Ausgabe für SCART-Ausgang 2*
- SW5 SCART-Ausgang rechts - Umschalten zwischen TTL und 75Ohm Sync-Ausgabe für SCART-Ausgang 1*
- SW7 - RGsB ON/OFF - RGB mit SYNC ON GREEN für SCART-Eingang 2
- SW8 - RGB ONLY/AUTO mode (Default = AUTO)
*LED-Licht An = TTL-Sync-Ausgabe.
LED-Licht Aus = 75Ohm-Sync-Ausgabe.
Beachte: Der TTL-Sync Modus wird nur für sehr spezielles, professionelles Video-Equipment benötigt.
Der Standard ist 75Ohm Sync! Daher achte bitte darauf, dass die zwei kleinen "CSYNC"-LEDs neben SW4 und SW5 immer AUS sind. Dein mit der Hydra verbundenes Video-Equipment freut sich über passende Sync-Level!

The Hydra offers 8 RGB-compatible SCART inputs to which various consoles and computers can be connected.
They are completely separated from each other, so that a possibly interfering signal from another input cannot crosstalk / cause interference. We offer here the again revised version 2.2 with power switch and extra fuses.
The Hydra will automatically scan all SCART-Inputs and stop as soon as an active source is found.
This means you can just turn on your TV and console and the Hydra will automatically switch to the next active input. If several sources are active at the same time, you can use the buttons to switch between the sources.
A pre-configured and pre-programmed L336 remote is included (needs 2x AAA-batterys, not included).

The Hydra supports remote controls - and almost any can be used here. To put the Hydra into learn mode, simply hold down the middle button while plugging in the power supply.
The Hydra then uses an LED to indicate which function is to be learned.
Simply press the corresponding button on your remote control until the Hydra changes to the next LED (then it has learned the function).
Switches:
- SW1 Right - Search for active source direction right (if active source is all the way to the right -> no action) / previous SCART input in manual mode
- SW2 middle - low pass filter on/off (LED on/off)
- SW3 Left - Search for active source heading left (if active source is all the way to the left -> no action) / next SCART input in manual mode
- SW1 + SW3 - Disables the "Knightrider LED Effect"
- SW1 + SW2 - Toggle auto/manual mode
- SW4 left SCART output - toggle between TTL and 75Ohm sync output for SCART output 2*
- SW5 right SCART output - toggle between TTL and 75Ohm sync output for SCART output 1*
- SW7 - RGsB ON/OFF - RGB with SYNC ON GREEN for SCART-Input 2
- SW8 - RGB ONLY/AUTO mode (Default = AUTO)
*(LED light on = TTL sync output.
LED light off = 75ohm sync output.
Note: The TTL sync mode is only required for very special, professional video equipment.
The default is 75ohm sync! Therefore, please make sure that the two small "CSYNC" LEDs next to SW4 and SW5 are always off. Your Hydra-connected video gear will appreciate proper sync levels!
