The New Seaguar Soft-Plus is 10% stronger than the standard Grand Max and it's also softer, making this an unbelievable fluorocarbon with amazing strength, high abrasion and UV resistance. This is a first class tippet material ideal as leader when fly fishing for trout, salmon, carp and many other game fish. The low memory and fast sinking rate have proved very popular with specimen carp and match anglers as a mainline and is soft enough for this purpose. 

All Seaguar fluorocarbons have the following in common: 
A unique Double Structure formulation that combines a strong inner core with a softer outer shell at manufacture, giving greater knot strength and shock resistance.  
A refractive index nearly the same as water making them near invisible to fish. 
A sink rate about 3 times the speed of nylon without the need for treatment. 
A higher breaking strain to diameter ratio compared to nylon and other brands of fluorocarbon. 
High resistance to abrasion, fatigue and UV damage giving longer useful life. 
Completely hydrophobic maintaining strength and avoiding stretch.
