Here's a lovely 8 piece set antique door hardware Most likely Eastlake Victorian era
This set includes: -4 fancy door plates; thick cast iron, about 5.25" x 1-5/8". Maker's marks seen but illegible. -4 Classic white porcelain/clay knobs with lovely long, polished brass shanks. About 2.25" diameter. One with light scratches, as expected after 100 years!
2 clean spindles and appropriate spindle screws.
In my opinion, good to very good vintage condition, consistent with age and use. But, you be the judge. Lots of pictures to get a good look; review them all carefully as they are a large part of the listing. Ask questions now so you have all your answers before purchase. I always encourage questions BEFORE buying if you are unsure of anything, anything at all, no matter how minor. I am no expert on these but I want you to be happy with your purchase so review all the details including measurements to ensure they will fit your needs before purchasing. I will answer all questions promptly.
Actual age is unknown. Please do your own investigation if this is a concern. Mounting screws or other hardware is not included but available for additional cost. All measurements are approximate.
These oldies were originally used with a "mortise" lock that slipped into the edge of the door, but a "tube latch" will work on modern doors. I can provide either tube latch or perhaps an appropriate mortise lock (with proper key), for additional cost.
I highly encourage questions before buying; I am no expert on these and I want you to be pleased with your purchase. You will not be disappointed but all sales are final; no refunds or returns accepted.
