V-Mar 5C Collet Stop Extensions
5C Collet stop extensions. Screw these into the back of your 5C collets, then screw your collet stop into the back of the extension. This allows you to setup a positive work stop for longer parts.
The collet and collet stop shown in the photo are NOT included. The photo with the collet is just to demonstrate how the extensions are used.
The extensions come in 2-1/2", 5" or 10" lengths but you can screw them together to get even more length.
Made in the USA from 6061 aluminum.
We recommend using spindle sleeves to support the extensions for the 10" and longer (stacking them together for more length) especially if you are turning at a higher spindle RPM. Just like you would for long bar stock.
The OD of the extensions is 1.150", ID measures .875"
