INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Shampoo hair & dry your hair thoroughly. 
  2. Straightener Apply the cream all over the head of hair, except for the roots, keep it 1 to 2cm above the roots Coat the entire hair evenly & comb straight through with a wide-toothed comb 
  3. Let it set at room temperature for 10 to 20 minutes 
  4. Then, after sufficiently plain rinsing, dry the hair thoroughly Set it with a special iron at 180C / 360F or less for 2 seconds per location to straighten the hair 
  5. When applying Straightener, keep it 1 to 2 cm above the roots, as getting it on the scalp could cause irritation & hair for breakage. 
  6. Use an intermediate water rinse to completely wash away straightener. Especially wash the roots carefully Neutralizer Coat the entire hair & leave it for 2 to 3 minutes while lightly combing. 
  7. Then, completely wash it away. If the neutralization is not complete, it could cause damage or hair for breakage, so coat the hair sufficiently from the roots to the tip of the hair to make sure neutralization is complete.

HOW TO APPLY

EX1 Straightener
- Shampoo hair & dry hair thoroughly
- Divide hair into 4 sections

For first applications: 
- Begin at the nape of the neck, use a tint brush to apply EX1 Straightener cream
   rapidly section by section along the lengths of the hair, stopping 1-2 cm from scalp.
   Avoid tension on the hair.
       CAUTION: Getting it on the scalp could cause irritation & hair for breakage
- Coat the entire hair evenly & comb straight through with a wide-toothed comb
- Let it set at room temperature for 10 to 20 minutes

Retouch applications: 
- If the hair has already been relaxed, only apply on the re-growth 
- Repeat applications on remaining sections in the same manner 
- Ensure the cream is distributed well throughout the hair 
- Smooth with fingers or side of hand to ensure enough product is spread through
   hair & it remains straight
- Continue smoothing hair with fingers during recommended development time:
     > Leave on for 15 minutes at room temperature on very resistant natural hair,
         resistant natural hair & natural hair
     > Leave on for 10 minutes at room temperature on sensitized hair
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until the product is completely removed,
   carefully washing roots
- Towel dry the hair thoroughly
- Set it with flat iron below 180°C/360°F, heating each section for 2 seconds to
   straighten hair

EX2 Neutralizing Cream
- Coat hair with EX2 Neutralizer, ensuring coverage from roots to ends of hair
      CAUTION: If hair isn't coated thoroughly/sufficiently, can cause hair
                         damage/breakage
- Leave it for 2 to 3 minutes while lightly combing
- Smooth down regularly so that hair remains straight during development time 
- Thoroughly rinse out EX2 Neutralizer cream

NOTE: Use a timer. The application time must be counted as part of the total development time. Total development time is 20 minutes for natural hair (including application time). Never leave the Shiseido smoothing cream in contact with the hair for more than 20 minutes
