"Pobeda" ZIM - watch brand USSR,

 released specially for the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in 1946 year.

Since 1937 plant named Maslenkov start to produce wristwatches under its own logo ZIM. Most of the famous series watches 

“Victroy”(POBEDA). All watches where loved by people because of good quality and reliability not only in USSR, but in all social 

camp and even in some far countries. Plants stop their production because of collapse of the country in 1990s.

Pobeda watches were sold across the Soviet Union and many other Warsaw Pact nations, and today they are ubiquitous in Eastern 

Europe and Central Asia. Many Pobeda watches were created to commemorate special occasions, such as victories in battle, Party 

congresses, or space flights. These commemorative watches were often given as gifts.
