Good used - Tested. This Suntec A2RA 7738 Waste Oil Pump & Motor Assembly with filter is in good used condition. We have tested it rigorously; we test all our pumps with thin diesel fuel, not heavy motor oil; they are pressure and vacuum tested to make sure they pass inspection; the output pressure is tested to make sure it's 100 psi and must have a good flow; we also pressure and vacuum test the shaft seal and run the pump with the inlet side closed off to make sure it will pull down to a minimum of 20 inches of vacuum; many used pumps in the industry do not pass this test at all; we've tested lots of pumps---we know. Only good quality pumps pass this test. We also check to make sure they run quietly. We also oil the pump motor bushings and check the drive coupling to be sure everything is correct and tight as applicable. This pump can be used on most any brand waste oil furnace/heater. If you need to know if it will work on yours, contact us before bidding. These pumps also work well to transfer oil from an outside tank to an inside tank, etc. They move oil slowly and will not stir up the mud in the bottom of your tanks. If you use it to transfer oil, we recommend that you install a timer, so that it will not overfill your tank (timer not included); and then set the timer to run when someone is in the shop and fill it only partways (1/2 to 3/4 full) to eliminate any oil spill. Includes a vacuum gauge on the suction filter. Does not include 90° brass fitting on suction side of filter, even though shown in some pix. See below.

These are miscellaneous used take-off pumps from waste oil heaters. All of them have 1725 RPM American-made motors, drive couplings, and steel bracket assemblies to hold motor and 7738 pump together, and have the A pump part # A1RA-7738 for the pump. They are a 1-piece assembly and may have different brand motors than some of them shown in pictures. Somebody may have replaced the motor sometime in the past. Paint and decals may vary. Please understand we sell lots of these and don't have time to take a picture of every last pump. If it really makes any difference to you, you may ask us what brand motor you are getting; and we will check what brands of motors are on the pump assemblies that we have presently in stock. All are 110 volt and are in good used condition. The pictures below show some examples. The one you receive may differ slightly from the one pictured above in the header image or in the multiple-pictures below.

Warranty: Our warranty is a replacement warranty for the pump and the motor for 60 days. It is by exchange only. In the rare event that you need warranty, you will need to contact us for a Return Authorization; then send the pump or motor back and we will send you another one; we pay standard shipping one way. - Note: this pump must be used with a suction filter before the pump, or any / all warranty will be void.
