Durbar plate, chequer plate, diamond tread are all commonly used but can become very slippery when wet. Our Conformable Anti Slip tape provides the solution as it's foil backed Anti Slip surface easily conforms to the metal and stays down due to the strong adhesive. 

Conformable anti slip tape is special, it has a class O, dead soft aluminium foil backing.  The advantage of using a foil instead of a conventional plastic is for the following reasons;

1.    Foil has zero stretch tolerances – unlike a plastic it will not be stretched, when a plastic stretches it wants to revert to its original state so will lift from an irregular substrate.

2.    The foil has no memory, it can be pressed into place and will remain in that shape.

Our anti slip tape treads are made from a fine grade aluminium oxide, applied to the aluminium  self-adhesive carrier, which can be applied onto almost any surface. It is as simple as peel the backing from the tape and place to instantly provide a water resistant anti-slip surface that is ready to walk on.  This makes it suitable for use in a wide range of commercial and domestic applications.
