Best hammer-bit for seismic retrofitting - saves noticeably less epoxy than 3/4" bits.

Faster & more cuts than any other comparable bit that we've used retrofitting. The red band on this bit is ideally suited for 5/8" x 10" hold-down bolts, leaving about an 1-1/2" above bottom plate exposed for HTT5  brackets & nuts. For shorter bolts you can wrap tape on bit as marker for desired depth of cut.
