This is the IRWELL RACING LP2 Shifter Mount, custom designed and built by a sim racer for fellow sim racers. Not only is this smaller and more discreet than other mounts available but it grips the seat tube tighter completely eliminating slip/movement and is also UK-SPEC meaning the shifter is on the “correct side” for British sim racers. With many improvements over our original LP1 offering, features include:

 

-         Solid steel construction: laser cut, folded manually and welded

 -         Professionally powder-coated to a black finish

 -         Polyamide pipe clamp, fitting as tight as possible without marking the seat

 -         Wide range of adjustment; the perfect angle no matter what your seat height is

 -         Ergonomic shape that hugs the profile of the shifter base

 -         V-shaped cut-out to allow mounting as high up the frame as possible

 -         Black caphead fixing bolts to be even more discreet and provide easier installation than our original LP1

 -         Bolts included to solidly fix the shifter to the mount

 -         Only a 5mm Allen/hex key is required to install (not included)

 -         Can be mounted above or below the seat height adjustment strap

*This product is designed to work alongside our handbrake mount. It has however come to our attention that some buyers are using this mount for their older G25/G27 Logitech Shifter - there may not be enough room for both*

This product is only designed to mount a LOGITECH G29/G920/G923 DRIVING FORCE SHIFTER to the side of either the PLAYSEAT CHALLENGE, PLAYSEAT CHALLENGE X or X ROCKER XR RACING gaming chairs. Whilst it may be suitable for other shifters and/or other chairs, I cannot guarantee compatibility. I am open to helping in any way that I can though; if you have a different shifter or if your chair tube diameter isn’t 25mm then please feel free to message me and I will help in any way that I can.

NB: powder coating provides a smooth and durable finish, far superior to paint, but because the component is hung from a wire during the process there is occasionally a small imperfection where the hook touches the component – the area is deliberately chosen so that it is as discreet as possible when fitted.
