This is a nice, original printing of The Island or Christian and His Comrade by Lord Byron. 3rd Edition. Printed for John Hunt (London). Brown soft wrappers. Parts of the Story were founded on the Mutiny of the Bounty and partly in "Mariner's Account of the Tonga."
Measures 6" x 9" and contains 94 pages with a double sided ad page in rear. .
There is some wear and discoloration to edges and surfaces of paper covers, along spine are numerous whitish discoloration marks. Interior pages good, rough cut with mild wear at edges. text sharp and clean. Tiny dog ears on upper corners.
