No Idea Fanzine no. 7

I am the original owner of this extremely rare (I am guessing at this point in time, nearly thirty or so years after its original publication that it is indeed a rarity) fanzine from Gainesville, Florida. If you've found this rare gem listed here on eBay you might have a more articulated awareness of what I am henceforth going to describe. I bought this by mailorder perhaps in 1989 or 1990, when I was a meticulous Crimpshrine vinyl collector during their very brief heyday. Crimpshrine toured the United States and very early into the tour, they shed two members of the band due to a troublesome van and subsequent interpersonal fallout. After procuring a new bass player to finish the tour, one of the few tour dates they made on their nationwide whirlwind was a stopover in Gainesville, Florida--to which why this feature in No Idea fanzine came about. The zine itself is very nicely done. Although, for the most part, it is a black-and-white publication on newsprint, a handful of spreads are either spot color or process color, which really made it a standout publication at the time and to which I still appreciate the aesthetic of to this day. It has been preserved in clear plastic sleeve with cardboard backing for the duration of its lifetime. I still have the accompany translucent blue vinyl record which features Crimpshrine and the Gainesville locals, Mutley Chix, on the B-side. If you're interested in the accompanying 45, please let me know and I will negotiate a price if you'd like it included.

Thanks for looking.
