✔ RELIABLE THERMAL PROTECTION: The bimetal switches reproducibly at 55°C ±5°C. The reset temperature is 42°C ±6°C. Safely protects motors, transformers and power supply units from overheating damage.

✔ SWITCH TYPE: NC contact NC (Normally Closed). Normally closed, the thermal switch interrupts the circuit when the tripping temperature is reached. The bimetal snap-action switch prevents mechanical failure.

✔ ELECTRICAL LOAD CAPACITY: For AC and DC voltage, i.e. 230V household appliances and 12V/24V DC applications. Specified for AC 250V/5A and DC 24V/8A. Contact resistance of only 50mO minimizes heat loss in the switch.

✔ COMPACT DIMENSIONS: At just 21×8×4mm and with a plastic housing, the HKW9700 (sometimes referred to as KSD9700) also fits into very tight installation situations. The 70mm pre-assembled connection cable enables direct installation without soldering.
