This watch made in USSR (Soviet Union) by 2 Moscow Watch Factory. On the dial inscriptions 'POBEDA' (Victory), 2 Moscow Watch Factory (Rus.). Back Stainless Steel. 2 central figured hands (hour and minute) and separate seconds one. Movement has 15 ruby jewels. 


The mechanism is decorated in Swiss style.

Pobeda is the brand name of famous soviet wristwatches. Pobeda watches were especially designed by soviet watchmakers for the anniversary of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) in 1946. The brand, style and mechanism were supervised by Stalin himself. In the USSR Pobeda was famous all over the country. Pobeda was traditionally given as a government award for the best labors and veterans. Pobeda watches were also well-known in other socialist countries. Pobeda watches are no longer manufactured.
