CHROME AIR CLEANER ADAPTER KIT FOR HARLEY BIG TWIN EVO & TC88 ENGINES WITH MIKUNI HSR 42/45/48 CARBS

This kit allows you to use the popular "CV" or "S&S" type air cleaners and velocity stacks on your BIG TWIN EVO or TWIN CAM V-Twins when running the Mikuni HSR 42/45/48 Carburetors. 

This kit vents the head breathers through the carb inlet - so you can add a velocity stack and maintain a clean breather installation too!

This kit provides a very stable surface on the Mikuni HSR carb face for the "CV" or "S&S" 3-hole mount - plus the filter or velocity stack will NOT come off the Mikuni

The "set back" on the adapter from the face of the Mikuni inlet to the face of the head breather holes is approx. 1". This can be altered slightly by adding washers between the cross-mount and heads

Depending on your Mikuni's inlet distance from the breather hole face, additional washers or spacers (not included) may be needed to take up the gap to the breather plate

Kit includes both 3/8" and 1/2" size breather bolts ~ you will only use one pair to install.  Kit includes 2 CV carb gaskets ~ S&S style gaskets NOT included

Also, on taller than stock stroker motors, you may need to enlarge the breather mounting plate's inlet holes slightly - since the breather holes will be farther apart than stock. 

The center-to-center distance between the breather holes on this adapter is 5-7/8"

On some applications you may have to relieve a little metal from the cross piece to clear the throttle lever

This item is for the "MIKUNI to CV or S&S" air filter mount adapter kit only, carb or air filter NOT included

You will see some imperfections on the diecast chrome cross-mount bracket

This one does not fit Sportsters, does not fit Revtech engines

You will see some imperfections in the castings and chrome
