This works with Comcast, TWC/Spectrum (and most US ISPs) for plans up to 38Mbps in speed. ISPs have been pushing customers to upgrade to DOCSIS 3 modems as a means of generating additional profit through sales and lease of equipment, ignore the EOL. If you're plan is 38Mbps or less in speed, this modem works just fine. i.e. TWC/Spectrum will need the HFC MAC number (listed on Modem). Self-activate online, then connect your wireless router.
