Hardcover book published in 1977 by The National Counsel of Notaries (of Italy). Appears to be Book 1 of a set of who knows how many! I can’t find much information on this book and I do not read Italian. Appears to be a history of notaries and laws in medieval Italy.

DJ is in good condition with some shelfwear and edgewear and soiling. Looks like someone used the book as a backing to scribble some notes as there are impressions of numbers and doodles on the DJ. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering. Former library copy, minimally marked. 398 pp. plus additional photographic pages. Corners bumped.
