This is a nice, original printing of England in 1835 Being a Series of Letters Written to Friends in Germany during a residence in London and excursions into the provinces by Frederick von Raumer. First American Edition in one volume. Published in Philadelphia by Carey, Lea, and Blanchard, 1836. Original work rebound in red cloth.

Measures 6" x 9" and contains 512 pages.

There is some mild rubbing wear to edges of covers. Title page and original end pages have minimal surface discoloration and wrinkling. Interior pages good, text sharp and clean.
