3M's VHB (Very High Bond) model tape is an incredibly strong and reliable model for a variety of uses as long as the preparation and application of the surfaces guidance is followed correctly.

This 3M double sided tape can be easily cut with scissors to the length you need and is perfect mounting tape for car, bike and vehicles for trim and number plate fixings. With a foam core it can absorb movement so is suitable in projects where a tolerance is required.
Very practical for attaching objects to tile, brick, laminated wood, metal, as well as cameras and dashcams. It's low-tack to the touch however once in contact with the appropriate surface this adhesive tape immediately starts to bond with full strength achieved after 24 hours cure time. Not suitable for fabrics or vinyl.
- Apply by cleaning the surface thoroughly with an alcohol based cleanser and allowing to fully dry.
Press tape onto surface firmly for 10-20 seconds, pressure sensitive tape requires pressure to start the bonding process.
- The red film liner can be easily remove with a sharp point if it's too difficult by hand.
- A poor adhesion is often the result of an unsuitable surface or traces of dirt and grease between the surface and tape contact.
- Note that to the touch this tape may not feel as sticky as you would expect, acrylic adhesive works by bonding over time to create a bond many times stronger than a rubber-based adhesive tape. It will stick to itself quickly so be careful when using.
Removal leaves no residue or damage to the surface, it can be removed by hand or using a little direct heat while pulling it back. It is not recommended to re-use tape which has previously been applied.
