The DAKOTA ALERT DUAL-4000 Dual Probe Alert Driveway Alarm Kit and Receiver will notify you when a vehicle  pulls up your driveway within 12 feet of either of the probes. This motion detection kit includes a receiver,  transmitter, 2 Probes with 50 feet of wire for each probe. Bury the probes (parallel to the driveway) and wire  underground and run the wires to the location of the transmitter box, which could be mounted on a post or  nearby tree. The transmitter operates on four CR123A batteries and will send a signal (up to 1 mile* away) to  the receiver whenever a vehicle drives by either the probe. This driveway alarm kit is recommended in locations  where false signals from motion detection systems are caused by large animals such as deer. And since the  probes are buried underground, they are less noticeable. The weatherproof transmitter is also durable and meant  to be used in exterior locations.

The new DAKOTA ALERT DAPT-4000 is a Battery Operated DUAL PROBE WIRELESS VEHICLE SENSOR that has the ability to send Different Signals for vehicles that are entering and exiting. By using TWO PROBES that are placed near the driveway, the sensor can determine the direction or  travel. When used with the DCR-4000 Receiver or the RE-4k Plus Receiver, different sounds or  outputs can be selected for vehicles that are coming or going. The DAPT-4000 can detect a car passing by up to  about 10'-12' from either probe. and can send a signal back to the receiver up to 1 mile away*.

The extra Probe Sensor can be used to cover an extra driveway, an extra wide driveway for better coverage, to  monitor farm equipment or even large metal garbage bins.

The DAKOTA ALERT DCR-4000 Receiver plays up to 12 different tunes that are easily programmed by the user. Up to  16 different sensors can be used with one receiver. The receiver is powered by a 12VDC transformer (included).

The DAKOTA ALERT DCR-4000 Receiver has four different volume levels and offers a flashing LED when a sensor is  activated.

Up to 16 different Dakota Alert 4000 Series Sensors (Transmitters) can be paired with any of the DAKOTA ALERT  4000 Series Receivers.
