Outstanding photo puzzle featuring an uncommon scene featuring Johnny Weissmuller (Jungle Jim), Dean Fredericks (Haseem, the Hindu manservant) & Tamba the chimpanzee. 

This jigsaw is based on the short-lived Jungle Jim syndicated 1955/1956 TV series. 

Note: Columbia Pictures produced a series of Weissmuller Jungle Jim B-movies from 1948 to 1956. The series capitalized on the popularity of Johnny Weissmuller, who had just completed his last Tarzan film. Weissmuller was also an Olympic swimming superstar. 

Dean Fredericks was best known for his portrayal of the comic strip character Steve Canyon in a 1958-1959 TV series. 

Scattered puzzle pieces are die-cut animal/forest shapes (squirrel, fish, turtle, etc.). A scarce and very displayable example with excellent eye appeal. 

Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate edge scuffing and scattered litho edge chips on frame-tray edging. Mild cardboard creasing with no tears or taping on pieces. Colors and imagery are still bold, bright and attractive. Puzzle is complete. 

Overall, we feel this uncommon jigsaw is still in very displayable condition by most standards (see photos). 

It would make an impressive find for the JOHNNY WEISSMULLER and/or VINTAGE CHARACTER PUZZLE MEMORABILIA enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated - (7).
