(2) MSA P100 Type H Cartridge Filters for Particulates.  This sale is for filters only, NOT the mask these fit into.
Type H are classified as ultra filters by MSA
New open box / old stock from bulk container, repackaged for First Class Mail.
Unblemished / same as factory fresh.  The aluminized coating on the steel can be thin, allowing to develop what appears to be a dark to black
in color blemish which is likely ferrous oxide.  This should not affect efficacy as long as the filtered air surface is free from blemishes.
These filters will be free of these blemishes.

If more P100 filter cartridges are needed, please see my other listings for (24) filters for lower per unit pricing.
Needing filters + a MSA Comfo II medium mask?  See my listings for boxes of (100) filters + (1) mask and (400) filters + (4) masks.

Outside cartridge thread diameter:  approx 75 mm, (2.95")  This fits the MSA Comfo and many other
     respirators.
P100 rating good for particles and mists containing radionuclides and asbestos.
   Rated efficiency:  99.97%
This exceeds N95 95% mask filtration rating.
These cartridge filters are NOT for use where hazardous gas or vapor is present.
These cartridges are new / old stock, but expect these to be excellent, unblemished/ rust-free condition.
MSA states there is no expiration date on particulate cartridge filters, which these are.  Cartridge
filters for vapors, which these are not, in general have a 3 year expiration.  Please see the attached
MSA statement on expiration in the photos.  If using beyond a daily use, remove the filter cartridge
should to ensure the respirator is dry.  The respirator flapper valve preventing exhalation through the
filter may not be perfect, which could allow moist respired air into the filter.  Filter cartridges may be
used as long as sufficient air can be drawn through without excessive effort.  Particulate removal
efficiency typically increases with use as the pressure drop across the filter increases.

Per MSA Respirator fit instructions:

Test respirator for leakage using a positive pressure method.  Lightly place palm over exhalation valve cover.  Gently exhale.  A slight positive pressure should build up inside the respirator.  If any leakage is detected around the facial seal, readjust head harness straps and repeat test until there is no leakage.  If other than facial seal leakage is detected, the condition must be investigated and corrected before another test is made.  A negative pressure test may also be performed on certain types of respirators.  Lightly8 place palms over cartridges or filter holders.  Gently inhale and the facepiece should collapse against the face.  The respirator must pass the tightness tests before the respirator is used.  The respirator will not furnish protection unless all inhaled air is drawn through suitable cartridges or filters.
