This is an old fashioned vegetable very similar to cabbage except the
leaves grow loosely rather than in a head. It is excellent for cold
climates and winter gardens and the flavour and nutritional quality even
improve after frost.
Sowing time - Au-early Spring. Avoid hot times of the year
Prefer sunny position, sow 5mm deep, emerge 7-14 days, best germination at less than 22 degrees C soil temp.
Harvest approx. 10-12 weeks after sowing
