RAPID EYEWEAR NIMBUS PHOTOCHROMIC SUNGLASSES

The Nimbus sunglasses have been a staple of Rapid Eyewear's highly regarded sports range for many years. Now, we have the photochromic version, with transitional lenses that automatically change from clear to Category 3 (for sunny conditions) and back again when the light demands it. This feature makes 'Nimbus Photo' ideal for a range of sports and leisure applications, including driving, cycling, golf, running and shooting etc.

The Frames

Manufactured from a tough TR90 composite, the Nimbus frame is lightweight yet incredibly robust, with sprung side arms and a hard-wearing, hand sprayed matt black finish. Rubber side arm extenders and nose pads make for an extremely comfortable fit. The frame is 13cm wide and will fit most adult men and women comfortably.

The Lenses

Rapid Eyewear's impact resistant lenses are made from polycarbonate; they are anti-scratch coated and decentred to ensure optical precision. This technologically advanced lens will ease from being completely clear, to a category 3 tint when the sun comes out, and back again. Even when the lenses are clear, they still provide 100% UVA / UVB (uv400) protection.

Conformity and Compliance

'Nimbus Photo' comply with all aspects of the latest British and European standards for glasses and sunglasses. They also comply with with CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) recommendations for pilot eyewear.

Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase. However, if it is not suitable for any reason, we are happy to refund your purchase providing it is:

Returned within 14 days of receiving your order
It is in original undamaged packaging with all tags intact
The product is in the same condition as how you received it
You have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of our goods whilst they are in your possession and during transit. We cannot accept liability for goods that get lost or damaged when they are returned, and request that you ask the Post Office to stamp the Proof of Posting label when returning products by post.
